Again, All I Can Have is Hope

Things may be a bit sparse around here for a little while.

Diz (our dog) is in a bad way. He's been in the animal hospital for a day, now. After a few days refusing food and a day refusing water we took him in to find out that he has kidney failure and a major sinus infection. We're hoping that re-hydration and antibiotics will take care of it, but we don't know.

He has been responding OK. He's drinking again, and has taken a little food, but he's still very weak. He had his 12th birthday a few months ago, so he is getting a bit long in the tooth, so we don't know if he'll be able to bounce back. We'll see.
